We spent the first week studying the 7 elements of art. The first one is line, so, we will focus on line during our first project. We have created lines by blowing black ink on paper. After it dries we surround the blown ink designs with detailed lines called "zentangles" (glorified doodling). When finished we will add watercolor to complete the project. Examples are below.
